Duties and Responsibilities:

• The daily management of incidents, operational maintenance, support and proactive/preventative analysis of systems.
• Train new customers on the product and assist existing customers with user related questions.
• Is able to plan, schedule and monitor work activities in order to meet time and quality targets.
• Demonstrates analytical and systematic approach to problem solving.
• Communicates fluently orally and in writing and can present product information to customers.
• Gather product requirements and feedback from customers in a clear, detailed and systematic manner.
• Prioritize and manage tasks in an effective and efficient manner.
• Provide status to end customers with detail explanation of upgrades, system fixes and new features.
• Ability to provide daily status to reporting manager and/or co-workers. Must be a team player.
• Provide detail feedback in writing on customer recommendations pertaining to the product.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field OR equivalent work experience.

• Time & Attendance, Payroll, Staffing and/or HR industry knowledge is a plus.
• Desire to learn new technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop applications written in JavaScript, ASPX, C#, and/or SQL using the Microsoft stack of .NET (Visual Studio 4+ and SQL Server 2012+).
• Should be able to adapt to new languages, methodologies, and platforms to meet the needs of the project.
• Initial duties may include reviewing code, writing documentation, and following test procedures.
• Later duties may include responsibility for production software components.
• Work may include UI design, business logic development and SQL optimization.
• Work alongside other development and operations team members to collaborate and develop dynamic solutions.

Qualifications

Working towards or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• Knowledge of object oriented programming
• Experience with Microsoft .Net, C#, SQL Server
• Familiarity with database programming
• Familiarity with web applications
• Strong technical skills including understanding of software development principles
• Hands-on experience through coursework or internship
• Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary
• Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain stable, reliable and effective databases
• Optimize and maintain legacy systems
• Modify databases according to requests and perform tests
• Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
• Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
• Gather user requirements and identify new features
• Develop technical and training manuals
• Provide data management support to users
• Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
• Research and suggest new database products, services and protocols
• Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
• Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
• Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
• Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
• Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
• Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required

Qualifications

Working towards or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• Proven work experience as a Database administrator
• In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring)
• Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
• Hands on experience with SQL
• Familiarity working with .Net Framework, JavaScript, HTML and SQL Server
• Excellent analytical and organization skills
• An ability to understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
